Three mobile models, eleven positions
The T6 mobile through-drive single pump is a fixed-displacement vane pump built from one cartridge, and it combines two things in one housing: the rear of the shaft carries a second drive, so a second pump can be bolted to the back, and the pump itself is built to the mobile specification.
Three models are made this way: T6CRM, T6DRM and T6ERM. They cover 10.8 to 227.1 cm³/r and are written in eleven positions.
Two letters in the model matter. The R is the through-drive: the rear end can drive a second pump. The M is the mobile build, which is why these pumps run down to 400 r/min and why the cam ring codes carry a B in front of the numbers on the C and D frames.
The eleven positions at a glance
| # | What it sets | Values |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Model, and the port threads | T6CRM · T6DRM · T6ERM, with (Y) for metric threads on the port flanges |
| 2 | Displacement (cam ring), written as delivered flow | B03–B31 on the C frame · B14–B50 on the D frame · 042–072 on the E frame |
| 3 | Shaft | By model: 1 to 5 on T6CRM, 1/2/3/5 on T6DRM, 1/3/4 on T6ERM |
| 4 | Rotation | R clockwise · L counter-clockwise, seen from the shaft end |
| 5 | Porting combination | 00 standard · 01 · 02 · 03 |
| 6 | Adaptor for the driven pump | 0 none · A SAE A · B SAE B · C SAE C |
| 7 | Coupling | 1 SAE A · 2 SAE B · 3 SAE BB · 4 SAE C · 5 SAE J498b, 16/32, 11 teeth |
| 8 | Porting adaptor | 0 · 1 · 2 · 3, keyed to SAE A, SAE B and SAE C faces |
| 9 | Design letter | A in the ordering examples for all three models |
| 10 | Seal class | 1 mineral oil · 4 fire-resistant fluids · 5 both |
| 11 | Modification | A position of its own; the ordering examples leave it open |
Positions 6, 7 and 8 are the rear drive: they describe the second pump, not the first one. Positions 1 to 5 and 9 to 11 read exactly as they do on the other single pumps in the range.
Position 1: the model, and the (Y) that follows it
The first position names the model, and it carries an option in brackets: (Y) means the port flanges are tapped with metric threads instead of the imperial threads used when it is left out.
| Model | Frame | Cam rings | Shaft codes | Mounting flange | Weight | Axial load |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
T6CRM |
C | 13 | 1 · 2 · 3 · 4 · 5 |
SAE B two-bolt J744 | 20.4 kg | 800 N |
T6DRM |
D | 11 | 1 · 2 · 3 · 5 |
SAE C two-bolt J744 | 32.3 kg | 1200 N |
T6ERM |
E | 7 | 1 · 3 · 4 |
SAE C two-bolt J744 | 42.5 kg | 2000 N |
The last column is the axial load the input shaft will take from the drive, and it grows with the frame. It is worth checking whenever the pump is driven through a coupling that pushes or pulls on the shaft.
Position 2: the displacement code
The cam ring decides the displacement. Here the code is written as the flow the ring delivers at 0 bar and 1500 r/min, so the values below are litres per minute. On the C and D frames the mobile ring codes carry a B in front of the number:
| Code (C frame) | Delivery (l/min) | Code (C frame) | Delivery (l/min) |

The C frame covers 10.8 to 100.0 cm³/r, the D frame 47.6 to 158.0 cm³/r and the E frame 132.3 to 227.1 cm³/r. One code appears on more than one frame with a different delivery: B14 is 69.0 l/min on the C frame and 71.4 l/min on the D frame, so the code is read together with the model.
Position 3: the shaft
The shaft code is read across the model, not on its own: the same digit is a different shaft on each of the three.

This is the input shaft, the end the motor or engine drives. The rear end that carries the second pump is not chosen here; it is set by the coupling at position 7.
Position 4: rotation, seen from the shaft end
R is clockwise and L counter-clockwise, both judged from the shaft end — the same viewpoint the porting diagrams use.
Position 5: the four porting combinations
The outlet stays on the upper side of the housing and the inlet moves around it in 90° steps:
| Code | Outlet and inlet |
|---|---|
00 |
Outlet on the upper side, inlet on the lower side, opposite each other — the standard combination |
01 |
Outlet and inlet both on the upper side, one behind the other along the axis |
02 |
Outlet on the upper side, inlet on the far side, 90° apart |
03 |
Outlet on the upper side, inlet on the near side, 90° apart |
Positions 6 to 8: the rear drive
These three positions describe what is bolted to the back of the pump. The adaptor is the mounting face for the second pump:
| Code | Adaptor |
|---|---|
0 |
No adaptor: the rear end is closed |
A |
SAE A face |
B |
SAE B face |
C |
SAE C face |
The two shafts are joined by the coupling, chosen at position 7:
| Code | Coupling |
|---|---|
1 |
SAE A |
2 |
SAE B |
3 |
SAE BB |
4 |
SAE C |
5 |
SAE J498b, 16/32 pitch, 11 teeth |
The porting adaptor sets how the driven pump’s ports are finished, on the same letters:
| Code | Porting adaptor |
|---|---|
0 |
Standard |
1 |
Keyed to SAE A |
2 |
Keyed to SAE B |
3 |
Keyed to SAE C |
The three travel together with the size of the second pump: an SAE A driven pump takes an A adaptor with coupling 1, and the porting adaptor follows the same letter. Where nothing is bolted to the rear, they are written as zero or left at the standard value.
Positions 9 to 11: design letter, seal class and modification
The design letter stands at position 9 and is A in the ordering examples for all three models. Position 10 is the seal class:
| Code | Class | Fluid | Shaft seal limit |
|---|---|---|---|
1 |
S1 | Mineral oil | NBR, 0.7 bar maximum |
4 |
S4 | Fire-resistant fluids | EPDM, 7 bar maximum |
5 |
S5 | Mineral oil and fire-resistant fluids | FKM, 7 bar maximum |
Position 11 is a modification slot, left open in the ordering examples. A value there belongs to that build and is carried over as written.
Two torque limits: the pump shaft, and the coupling drive
A through-drive pump carries torque on two shafts, and there is a limit for each. The first is the input shaft, read by its shaft code:
| Shaft code | T6CRM (Vi × p) |
T6DRM (Vi × p) |
T6ERM (Vi × p) |
|---|---|---|---|
1 |
21420 | 43240 | 80560 |
2 |
14300 | 66036 | — |
3 |
20600 | 61200 | 61200 |
4 |
32670 | — | 120210 |
5 |
34180 | 55600 | — |
The second limit belongs to the coupling that drives the second pump, and it is read by the coupling code rather than by the pump model:
| Coupling | Coupling drive (Vi × p) |
|---|---|
| SAE A | 11000 |
| SAE B | 20600 |
| SAE BB | 22050 on T6CRM · 32670 on T6DRM and T6ERM |
| SAE C | 22050 on T6CRM · 37390 on T6DRM · 66480 on T6ERM |
| SAE J498b, 11 teeth | 15850 |
The two are checked separately because they are loaded separately: the input shaft carries the whole drive, while the coupling carries only what the second pump absorbs.
Speed, pressure and axial load
These are the mobile ratings. The minimum speed is 400 r/min, and the top speed and pressure fall as the rings get larger:
| Model | Displacement | Speed | Pressure, intermittent / continuous |
|---|---|---|---|
T6CRM |
10.8–100.0 cm³/r | 400–2800 r/min, 2500 r/min on B25 to B31, 1800 r/min with HF-3, HF-4 and HF-5 fluids |
275 / 240 bar with HF-0 and HF-2 · 210 / 175 bar with HF-1, HF-4 and HF-5 · 175 / 140 bar with HF-3 · 210 / 160 bar on B28 to B31 |
T6DRM |
47.6–158.0 cm³/r | 400–2500 r/min, 2200 r/min on B42 to B50, 1800 r/min with HF-3, HF-4 and HF-5 fluids |
240 / 210 bar with HF-0 and HF-2 · 210 / 175 bar with HF-1, HF-4 and HF-5 · 175 / 140 bar with HF-3 · 210 / 160 bar on B45 and B50 |
T6ERM |
132.3–227.1 cm³/r | 400–2200 r/min, 1800 r/min with HF-3, HF-4 and HF-5 fluids | 240 / 210 bar with HF-0 and HF-2 · 210 / 175 bar with HF-1, HF-4 and HF-5 · 175 / 140 bar with HF-3 |
The intermittent figure is a time-weighted average that may not exceed the continuous rating. The inlet is worth checking on a mobile machine as well, because it is rated by ring and speed: B03 needs 0.80 bar absolute from 1200 to 2500 r/min and 0.90 bar at 2800 r/min, while B17 needs 0.85 bar at 1500 r/min and 1.03 bar at 2100 r/min.
Mounting flange, ports and adaptor screws
The mounting face and the port sizes follow the frame, and the rear adaptor has its own tightening torque:
| Model | Mounting flange | Mounting torque | Suction port | Pressure port | Adaptor screws |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
T6CRM |
SAE B two-bolt J744 | 159 N·m | 1.1/2 in, Ø 38.1 mm | 1 in, Ø 25.4 mm | 72 N·m |
T6DRM |
SAE C two-bolt J744 | 187 N·m | 2 in, Ø 50.8 mm | 1.1/4 in, Ø 31.8 mm | 72 N·m |
T6ERM |
SAE C two-bolt J744 | 187 N·m | 3 in, Ø 75 mm | 1.1/2 in, Ø 37.1 mm | 72 N·m |
The rear adaptor is held by two M14 screws into a 24 mm deep tapping, at 72 N·m. The port faces are tapped by size: the C frame takes 1/2"-13UNC × 22.4 and 3/8"-16UNC × 19, the D frame 1/2"-13UNC × 22 or M14 × 23.9 and 7/16"-14UNC × 22, and the E frame 5/8"-11UNC × 24 and 1/2"-13UNC × 24.
One model number, decoded
Six strings from the shelf, read position by position:
| Model code | Reading |
|---|---|
| T6CRM B03 1L00 A10 A1 | Model T6CRM, mobile through-drive on the C frame, SAE B mounting, imperial port threads; cam ring B03 = 16.2 l/min, the smallest ring; shaft 1, keyed SAE BB; rotation L; porting 00; adaptor A, coupling 1, porting adaptor 0; design A; seal 1, NBR |
| T6CRM B05 1R00 A10 A1 | The same rear drive with cam ring B05 = 25.8 l/min and rotation R |
| T6DRM B14 2R00 C40 A1 | Model T6DRM, D frame; cam ring B14 = 71.4 l/min; shaft 2, keyed SAE CC; rotation R; adaptor C with coupling 4 for a larger second pump; seal 1 |
| T6DRM B17 3L00 C40 A1 | Cam ring B17 = 87.3 l/min; shaft 3, splined SAE C; rotation L; adaptor C, coupling 4, porting adaptor 0 |
| T6ERM 042 1R00 C40 A1 | Model T6ERM, E frame; cam ring 042 = 198.5 l/min, the smallest E ring; shaft 1, keyed SAE CC; rotation R; adaptor C, coupling 4 |
| T6ERM 045 1L00 C42 A1 | Cam ring 045 = 213.6 l/min; rotation L; adaptor C, coupling 4, and porting adaptor 2 for the driven pump’s ports |
Between them the six strings cover the three models, both rotations, and rear ends sized for an SAE A driven pump on one and an SAE C driven pump on the other.
T6CRM to T6ERM: what to confirm before ordering
- Settle what will be driven. The adaptor, coupling and porting adaptor describe the second pump, not the first.
- Keep the three letters matched. An SAE A driven pump takes the
Aadaptor with coupling1. - Write the cam ring code as the nameplate does. On the C and D frames the mobile codes carry a
B. - Read the code with the model.
B14is 69.0 l/min on the C frame and 71.4 l/min on the D frame. - Check both torque limits: the input shaft by its shaft code, and the coupling by its coupling code.
- Say whether the ports are metric: that is the
(Y)after the model. - Match the seal class to the fluid, and take the speed and pressure from the ring rather than the frame.
- Order the rear screws for the adaptor size and tighten them to 72 N·m.
Ordering
Send the complete code from the nameplate, or the combination you need: model, cam ring, shaft, rotation, porting, adaptor, coupling, porting adaptor, seal class and modification. Where a cartridge kit is wanted instead of a complete pump, say so as well and we will confirm the cartridge against the code before the order is placed.
All pumps are supplied as new replacement units, inspected individually before dispatch.
