The T6 triples carry three sections on one shaft, so one string names three cartridge sizes plus the shaft, the port arrangement and the seals. Two standard builds exist: T6DCC and T6EDC. Both are written in the same field order, and the difference between them is the size of the front section and the way the two rear sections are written.
The ordering work is the same on either model: read the three cartridge codes against the group listed for each position, then settle shaft, rotation, port form and seal class.
Two models, three positions
| Model | Sections | Front position P1 | Middle position P2 | Rear position P3 | Shaft codes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| T6DCC | D + C + C | D group, eleven codes | C group, shared with P3 | C group, shared with P2 | 1 to 4 |
| T6EDC | E + D + C | E group, seven codes | D group, eleven codes | C group, thirteen codes | 1 only |
The string, field by field
The T6DCC example reads T6DCC - B38 - B28 - B08 - 1 R 00 - A 1 - 00 - .. and the T6EDC example reads T6EDC - 062 - 035 - 017 - 1 R 00 - A 1 - P 0 - ... The T6EDC adds one field, for the pedestal mounting option, in front of the port form.

The two groups behind the T6DCC
Displacements are in ml/rev. The front position reads the eleven-code D group, and the two rear positions share one thirteen-code C group, so P2 and P3 are chosen from the same table.
| D code, P1 | ml/rev | C code, P2 and P3 | ml/rev |
|---|---|---|---|
| B14 | 47.6 | B03 | 10.8 |

The T6EDC groups, and the leading zero
The E triple reads three different groups, and the two rear positions write their codes with a leading zero: 014 stands for 47.6 ml/rev and 003 for 10.8 ml/rev, the same displacements that the T6DCC writes as B14 and B03. The codes are not interchangeable between the two models, even where the displacement is the same.

Shaft codes
The T6DCC offers four shafts: 1 keyed outside SAE, 2 keyed to SAE CC, 3 splined to SAE C and 4 splined to SAE CC. The T6EDC is built with one shaft only: code 1, keyed to G45N under ISO 3019-2. A shaft code from one model means nothing on the other.
Rotation and the porting combination
Rotation is given as seen from the shaft end, R clockwise and L counter-clockwise. The porting combination sets how the three port sets sit relative to each other and to the mounting face, and 00 is the standard arrangement.
Design letter and seal classes
The design letter is A on both models. Three seal classes are offered: 1, S1 in BUNA N, for mineral oil; 4, S4 in EPDM, for fire-resistant fluids; and 5, S5 in VITON, for mineral oil and fire-resistant fluids.
The pedestal option on the T6EDC
The extra field on the E triple records the mounting option. P is a pedestal mounting, which carries the pump on a foot rather than on the flange alone. The T6DCC has no such field.
Port forms
On the T6DCC the port sizes are fixed except for the rear section: suction is 4 in, the front pressure port is 1.1/4 in and the middle port 1 in, while the rear port is either 1 in or 3/4 in. The code names the thread and that rear size: 00 and M0 for the 1 in port, 01 and M1 for the 3/4 in port, with the letter M marking metric threads.
On the T6EDC the port form field carries a single character and names the rear port size only: 0 for a 1 in SAE port and 1 for 3/4 in.
Mounting torques
| Model | Mounting torques |
|---|---|
| T6DCC | 68 Nm, 187 Nm and 187 Nm |
| T6EDC | 300 Nm, 190 Nm and 90 Nm |
What to confirm before ordering
- All three cartridge codes. On the T6DCC the two rear positions share one group; on the T6EDC they do not, and both use the leading-zero form.
- The shaft. Four codes on the T6DCC, one on the T6EDC.
- The rear port size, which is the only port dimension the code changes.
- Whether a pedestal is needed, which only the T6EDC field can express.
Ordering
Send the complete string from the nameplate, with all three cartridge codes in order. Where the plate is worn, photographs of the mounting face and of the shaft end identify the build before anything is shipped.
The T6 triple pump range shows what we list, the cartridge kits and the T-series overview cover the rest of the family, and specific strings can go through the contact page.
