T67B Single Vane Pumps: Nine Code Positions, B02 to B15

One model, one nine-position code

The T67B is the single pump of the T67 family: a fixed-displacement vane pump built from one cartridge, covering 5.8 to 50.0 cm³/r across thirteen displacement codes on a single SAE B two-bolt mounting flange.

The pump weighs 15.7 kg and is written in nine positions — the same reading order the other single pumps in the range use.

The single pump is built in one model only, T67B. T67 also comes as a double and a triple pump, where each section carries its own displacement and shaft.

The nine positions at a glance

# What it sets Values
1 Model, and with it the mounting flange T67B, on the SAE B two-bolt flange
2 Displacement (cam ring) B02–B15, thirteen codes, 5.8–50.0 cm³/r
3 Shaft 1 to 4
4 Rotation R clockwise · L counter-clockwise, seen from the shaft end
5 Porting combination 00 standard · 01 · 02 · 03
6 Design letter A in the ordering example for this model
7 Seal class 1 mineral oil · 5 mineral oil and fire-resistant fluids
8 Port connection: type and thread M0 metric · 00 UNC, both on a four-bolt SAE flange
9 Modification A position of its own; the ordering example leaves it open

Positions 2 and 8 are the two that get mixed up. Position 2 sets how much oil the pump moves per revolution; position 8 sets how the ports are finished. They sit in different places in the string and never carry the same kind of value.

Position 1: the model, and the mounting flange

The first position names the model, and on this pump it settles the mounting flange as well: T67B is built on the SAE B two-bolt flange, and that is the only flange it comes on.

Item T67B
Mounting flange SAE B two-bolt J744
Hole spacing 146.0 mm
Bolt holes Ø 14.3 mm
Outline 174.5 mm
Pilot 101.60 mm
Shaft end Ø 22.225 mm
Key 6.35 mm
Weight 15.7 kg

Because there is only one model, the first position is settled as soon as the nameplate reads T67B. The displacement code is written with it: the complete string identifies the pump, and a ring code on its own does not.

Position 2: the displacement code

The cam ring inside the cartridge sets the displacement. The T67B list runs across thirteen codes:

Code Displacement (cm³/r) Code Displacement (cm³/r)
B02 5.8 B08 24.9
B03 9.8 B09 28.0
B04 12.8 B10 31.8
B05 15.9 B11 35.0
B06 19.8 B12 41.0
B07 22.5 B14 45.0
B15 50.0

The code is read together with the model. The same digits appear elsewhere in the range at a different displacement, so B10 on its own does not describe this pump.

Position 3: the shaft

The third position selects one of four shaft ends.

Code Shaft on the T67B
1 Keyed, SAE B, Ø 22.2 mm
2 Keyed, non-SAE
3 Splined, SAE B, 13 teeth
4 Splined, SAE BB, 15 teeth

The shaft carries a torque limit, and the catalogue prints it as a product: displacement times pressure.

Shaft code Vi × p (cm³/r × bar)
1 16340
2 14300
3 20600
4 21800

The limit is read against the shaft code, not against the displacement: on this pump the keyed shaft 2 is the lowest of the four at 14300, and the splined shaft 4 the highest at 21800.

Position 4: rotation, seen from the shaft end

R is clockwise and L counter-clockwise, both judged from the shaft end — the same viewpoint the porting diagrams use. Rotation is one of the positions where two pumps otherwise alike will not fit each other’s place, so it is worth taking from the nameplate rather than from the machine. A single ring size is stocked both ways: B04 is available with a left-hand and with a right-hand shaft.

Position 5: the four porting combinations

The outlet stays on the upper side of the housing and the inlet moves around it in 90° steps, giving four combinations:

Code Outlet and inlet
00 Outlet on the upper side, inlet on the lower side, opposite each other — the standard combination
01 Outlet and inlet both on the upper side, one behind the other along the axis
02 Outlet on the upper side, inlet on the far side, 90° apart
03 Outlet on the upper side, inlet on the near side, 90° apart

All four are read from the shaft end, and all four are the same four the other single pumps in the range use. What changes from one to the next is only where the inlet sits.

Positions 6 and 7: design letter and seal class

The design letter stands at position 6 and is A in the ordering example for this model. Position 7 is the seal class, and the T67B lists two of them:

Code Class Fluid Shaft seal limit
1 S1 Mineral oil NBR, 0.7 bar maximum
5 S5 Mineral oil and fire-resistant fluids FKM, 7 bar maximum

The class decides both which fluids the pump may run on and how much pressure the shaft seal will take, so it is settled together with the fluid rather than after it.

Position 8: the port connection code

Position 8 is the connection of the ports. On the T67B it chooses between two finishes of the same four-bolt SAE flange:

Code Connection
M0 Four-bolt SAE flange J518 with metric threads
00 Four-bolt SAE flange J518 with UNC threads

The ports themselves are a 1.1/2 in suction port with a Ø 38.1 mm bore and a 1 in pressure port with a Ø 25.4 mm bore, and the same flange serves both. A metric connection is written M0 and a UNC connection 00; the two codes are not interchangeable.

Position 9: the modification slot

The last position is a modification slot. In the ordering example for this model it is left open, and the strings stocked for the T67B carry no value there either. When a nameplate does carry one, that value belongs to that build and is carried over as written.

Speed, pressure and weight

The ratings for this model are published for the whole displacement range, with the fluid named alongside the pressure:

Item Value
Displacement 5.8–50.0 cm³/r, thirteen codes
Speed 600–3600 r/min, and 1800 r/min with the HF-3, HF-4 and HF-5 fluids
Pressure, intermittent / continuous 300 / 275 bar with HF-0 and HF-2 · 240 / 210 bar with HF-1, HF-4 and HF-5 · 175 / 140 bar with HF-3
Maximum axial load on the shaft 800 N
Weight 15.7 kg

The pressure row is read with the fluid, not with the ring: the same pump is rated 300 / 275 bar on HF-0 and HF-2, and 175 / 140 bar on HF-3. The 800 N figure is a separate limit on the axial load the shaft will take, so it is worth checking whenever the pump is driven through a coupling that pushes or pulls on the shaft.

One model number, decoded

Six strings from the shelf, read position by position:

Model code Reading
T67B B02 1R00 A100 Model T67B, SAE B two-bolt flange; displacement B02 = 5.8 cm³/r, the smallest ring; shaft 1, keyed SAE B; rotation R; porting 00; design A; seal 1, NBR; connection 00, four-bolt SAE flange with UNC threads
T67B B03 3R00 A100 Displacement B03 = 9.8 cm³/r; shaft 3, splined SAE B with 13 teeth; rotation R; seal 1; connection 00
T67B B04 2R00 A100 Displacement B04 = 12.8 cm³/r; shaft 2, keyed non-SAE; rotation R; connection 00
T67B B04 1L00 A1M0 The same ring and shaft as the string above, with rotation L and connection M0 — a four-bolt SAE flange with metric threads instead of UNC
T67B B06 1R00 A500 Displacement B06 = 19.8 cm³/r; seal 5, the FKM class for fire-resistant fluids and a 7 bar shaft seal limit; connection 00
T67B B10 3L00 A100 Displacement B10 = 31.8 cm³/r; shaft 3, splined SAE B; rotation L; connection 00

Between them these six strings move through the three positions that most often decide whether a pump will fit a machine: the shaft, the rotation and the connection code. The first and the last show the span of the ring list, from 5.8 to 31.8 cm³/r.

T67B: what to confirm before ordering

  • Write the model with the displacement code. B10 alone does not identify the pump.
  • Read the displacement code from the list. The thirteen codes cover 5.8 to 50.0 cm³/r.
  • Take the shaft code, then its Vi × p limit. Shaft 2 is the lowest of the four at 14300.
  • Confirm rotation and porting together, both read from the shaft end.
  • Match the seal class to the fluid. Fire-resistant fluids need class 5.
  • Choose the connection code: M0 for metric threads, 00 for UNC.
  • Check the pressure row against the fluid, and the 800 N axial load against the drive.
  • State the modification position if the nameplate carries one.

Ordering

Send the complete code from the nameplate, or the combination you need: model, displacement code, shaft, rotation, porting, seal class and connection code. Where a cartridge kit is wanted instead of a complete pump, say so as well and we will confirm the cartridge against the code before the order is placed.

All pumps are supplied as new replacement units, inspected individually before dispatch.
