M3 Vane Motors

Fixed-displacement M3 series vane motors — M3B (external drain) and M3B1 (internal drain, drain port plugged) versions, bi-directional (rotation code N), for fan, cooling and mobile drives. Five stator codes cover 9.2 to 37.1 cm³/rev; maximum pressure is 210 bar and the low-load (80 bar) speed limit is 4000 r/min. SAE A / ISO flange, keyed or splined shaft, with 3/4" BSPP or 3/4" SAE 4-bolt ports. Selection notes

M3B is a 9-item code: model (drain arrangement) - displacement - shaft - rotation N - porting 00 - design letter (B = Series "B") - seal class (1 / 5) - port form - modification. M3B is the external-drain version and M3B1 the internal-drain version (drain port plugged). On internal-drain units the low-pressure port must not exceed 1.5 bar; on external-drain units, whichever port is at low pressure must not exceed 35 bar when A and B alternate. Displacement codes 009 / 012 and port form 01 appear only in the revised edition of the datasheet.
