PVXS · PFXS Series Piston Pumps

The PVXS series is an open-circuit swashplate axial piston pump for heavy-duty industrial and mobile systems; the fixed-displacement version carries the PFXS prefix and shares the same 48-digit code. Five sizes cover 66, 90, 130, 180 and 250 cm³/r, rated 350 bar continuous with 420 bar peak, inlet pressure 0.85–50 bar and speeds from 150 to 1800 r/min. Controls range from the pressure compensator (DF) and power control with pressure limiter (LR) through electric motor (ES), handwheel (HG) and screw (FE) displacement control to pressure signal (DP), proportional valve (SP) and over-centre mooring control (DQ). Mounting is flange or foot type — tandem units are foot mounted only, and a combined unit requires a splined shaft. Ordering follows the complete 48-digit code, and all 48 digits must be present. All units are new aftermarket replacements, quality checked before shipping.

Selection guide

Match the size by the geometric flow the circuit needs: 066 covers up to 99 L/min at 1500 r/min, then 090 up to 135, 130 up to 195, 180 up to 270 and 250 up to 375 L/min; actual flow is lower once volumetric efficiency is applied. Choose the control by duty: DF holds pressure constant, LR limits drive power or torque (choose it whenever the prime mover is power limited), ES suits motorised adjustment with limit switches, HG and FE are for settings fixed at order time, DP follows an external pilot pressure, SP closes the loop electrically, and DQ allows over-centre operation for two-quadrant duty. Flange code, shaft, port position, thru-shaft and seal are all tied to the size and must be ordered together; tandem units are foot mounted only and combined units use a splined shaft.
